We booked this Hotel as it offered parking for your car while you were away so this suited us. We booked for the 1 night before our flight the next day and not only enjoyed the fact our car would be kept there but also we would be taken to the airport as well as get picked up on our return 12 days later.

Our room was fine and was ok for the night, I would say this hotel is geared for the night before or night of return of travel, all in al I would stay here again and would recomend this for a night before travel from Gatwick.

We booked for the night before a flight to Egypt, only to find when we arrived that our flight for the next morning had been cancelled. We were cold, tired & hungry, so instead of being transferred directly to the guest house, we were offered a diversion to the Six Bells, so we could get a meal & drown our sorrows, whilst our luggage was taken to our accomodation. Our room was clean & cosy; the only minor inconvenience being that our shower didn't work, but we were offered the use of another one when we reported it. All in all, a lovely place to stay & very friendly service, at a time when, with our holiday in jeopardy, we were not in the best of spirits.

Stayed here for one night before flying to Gatwick.

The hotel is walking distance (10-15 mins) from Horley Train Station.
The room was nice and cosy, particularly after spending the day travelling down from Nottingham.
Room incudes TV, tea and coffee facilities, toilet/shower and free wi-fi.

The owner also recommended a place to eat that evening - Ye Olde Six Bells - a pub 10 mins away. Very nice.

To end it all the transfer to the airport was timely.

The whole experience took out so much stress to do with checking into the airport for an early morning flight - thanks Springwood.

This is the second time I have used this B&B for early flights abroad. There is a free pick up service to and from Gatwick Airport.

Rooms are warm and comfortable - lovely art deco theme in the guest house. My only working point is the need for non dairy milk for breakfast. However, Sue drove me around to find soya/rice milk early in the morning. What a star!

Sue's partner - sorry can't remember his name, gracefully made extra toast after breakfast had finished.

Excellent B&B. very nicely furnished, great location for airport. Very friendly and helpful owners. Would definitely stop there again and recommend to other people even if they are not flying from Gatwick

Nice friendly place to stay either prior to your flight or after. couldn't have been more helpful.

We stayed in the superior room 12 at the rear of the building, lovely spacious room with complimentary coffee and tea. The power shower was lovely. The bed was a little uncomfortably. Excellent location to the North Terminal, Gatwick and we were able to leave our car there. We stayed one night before our one weeks holiday and then another night on our return. Our flight landed 11.40pm and so our keys were left securely which worked really well. We were disappointed with the 1hr breakfast slot the following morning (7.30-8.30am) especially as it was only a continental breakfast however, we did sleep in and they did allow us to eat at 9.30am.

Highly recommended. Our daughter and husband stayed before and liked it. So did we. Particularly liked the Art Deco styling. Nice room, comfortable bed. Although on a fairly busy road, not noisy at night and can't hear the planes as it is not on the flight path. Good continental breakfast and the drop-off and pick-up were quick and easy.

The hotel is a brilliant place to stay before you go on holiday. It also is the perfect location as it is a 5-10 minute drive to Gatwick. Springwood also look after your car if you choose to leave it with them which will be a lot cheaper than any other company! For the rooms they are absolutely divine because of the space for any number of family up to six people!! I really enjoyed my time here. Thank you Springwood for a lovely time before i went away!!

I am so late writing this review but had to make sure I got round to it!

I booked Springwood from Greece where I had been living and working for 4 months and I had so many questions and emailed Sue many times and she was so helpful and kind. But to be collected from the airport was amazing and such a nice touch as there was no way I could of managed alone with my huge suitcase. The directions to the yellow phone were also great!

My room was facing the front and very very nice. I was so tired after travelling for 48 hours and the room was so inviting, homely and immaculate but also so bright. I asked Sue where the shops were and I went off to find some food and only 10 minutes walk away there is everything that you need, fast food and so many restaurants but also a big supermarket.

I had a bit of a disaster as my boyfriend was meant to be arriving in the evening but had an emergency so I had to make my own way back to London in the morning I asked Sue if she could organise a taxi for me so I could get the train to London from Gatwick but Sue offered to drive me to the station which I thought was amazing but also she suggested a different way which was so much easier. I didnt get to try breakfast but the breakfast room was busy and looked lovely the reception area is very nice too and tastefully decorated. I thought for the price I paid, the type of room I got and the service I received was amazing and great value!

Thanks to Sue for being so kind and helpful and I will most definately be coming back to stay with you at some point but this time with a much smaller suitcase!
