- How far is Springwood from Gatwick Airport? – 1.7 miles, 5 minutes by car.
- How can I get to and from Gatwick Airport? – Please see Airport Transfers & Transport page.
- Check-in times are 1600-2000, earlier or later check-in times are available by arrangement. Room check-out time is 1000 but can be later by arrangement. For those flying later in the day luggage can be left and our reception room is available to guests all day.
- Can I leave my car and stay on my return? – Certainly, let us know when you book.
- Do you have day rooms available? – We may do, please telephone for availability and rates.
- Can I cancel my booking? – Yes, please see booking pages or terms and conditions for cancellation policy.
- I have to leave very early, can I get breakfast? – Certainly, continental breakfast is available as early as you wish.
- Is Springwood in the flight path? – Fortunately, no. Aircraft noise is rarely heard.
- Can you accommodate late arrivals? – Yes, we will ask your approximate arrival time and give you the information you need to gain access.
- Do you accept pets? – For the comfort of guests with allergies, we do not accept pets.
- Are there restaurants and pubs nearby? – Yes, there is a good selection within a five minute walk. See ‘FOOD’ page.
- Do you have smoking rooms? – No, smoking is not permitted inside the house.
- Can you store my luggage? – Yes, luggage may be stored at £2 per day.
- Do you provide cots and high chairs – Yes, there is a small charge for cots.
- Do you have Wireless Internet? – Yes, throughout the house, free of charge.
- Do you have internet access? – An online PC is available for guests’ use in reception, free of charge.
- Are there hairdryers and alarm clocks in the rooms? – Yes
- Do you have a lift?- We don’t but we do have some ground floor rooms and first floor rooms are up only one flight of stairs.
- Why do I have to leave my car keys? – We move your car to the back of the property (gated & lit) while you are away and bring it back to front ready for your return. Also in the event of an emergency we may need to move your car.
- Do accommodate longer term guests? – Yes, please telephone for long-term rates.
