Its been a busy week. We were happy to welcome VCJ rugby teams and teachers. Its always hard work when we have big groups to stay but well worth it to have such a polite and pleasant group. Well done VCJ for your rugby victories.

I was a bit worried as we also had 6 aviation students starting their week long stay to take their examinations at the CAA. I need not have been concerned. The VCJ boys know only too well whats it like to face an important exam and they made sure they didn’t disturb the students.

Most of our aviation students this week were French and it was lovely to listen to their discussions. Five of the six students already knew each other having come direct from The Bristol Ground School. It was good for them to be able to study together. It was a pity we couldn’t accommodate all the students who were friends from BGS and one of them had to stay at a neighbouring hotel. He came to Springwood to study though and tagged along for a lift to the CAA

I look forward to hearing their results. These are the chaps who will be flying us off on holidays before too long. They work really hard to qualify and I wish them all great success.
