Terms and Conditions
Reservations
We gladly accept reservations by telephone, e mail or online at www.springwoodguesthouse.co.uk. A £25 per room night deposit on rooms is required at the time of booking by valid major debit or credit card. (All major cards accepted with the exception of American Express) We do not charge fees for the use of credit cards. The balance payable on arrival.
Cancellations
We would like to remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and Springwood Guest House. In the event of cancellation 7 days prior to the reservation date, no charge will be made and a full deposit refund will be made. If cancelled up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to 1800 on the check in date deposits will not be refunded. Total value of the booking will be charged if cancelled less than 72 hours prior to 1800 on the date of check in. However, we shall do our best to re-let the room(s) in order to prevent imposing the charges outlined above.
Arrival and Departures
Rooms are ready for check-in from 1600, unless by prior arrangement. Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 1000 unless a later check out has been agreed by prior arrangement. Guests are welcome to remain in reception or store luggage for later departures.
Pets
We regret to advise we not permit any pets at Springwood unless they are Assistance Dogs for disabled guests.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the house at Springwood. Guests may smoke outside in the car park and dispose of cigarette ends in bin provided. Please note a £50 cleaning charge will be applied to your account where smoking has occurred in bedrooms.
Consumption of food
Guests are welcome to use reception or the dining room to eat ‘take aways’. Please request china and cutlery and dispose of waste in bin by the front gate. Consumption of ‘take aways’ in rooms is not allowed. Please note a cleaning charge of £50 will be applied to your account for the staining of soft furnishings by ‘take aways’.
Non accidental damage
Springwood Guest House reserves the right to make charges on guests’ accounts for non accidental damage.
Parking
Overnight and holiday parking is available for residents and non residents by arrangement. Springwood Guest House does not accept liability for guests’ vehicles or property left on the premises.
