Well done Gatwick

In spite of the 4 inches of snow which fell on Saturday night, there were no delays of longer than an hour at Gatwick Airport yesterday. We got regular updates on the weather predictions and the airport’s contingency plans and were pleased that all our guests got away. In contrast to Heathrow where a third of their flights were cancelled before a flake of snow had fallen!
